Our Cubs start at 8 Years old. In Cubs, excitement and adventure are a key part of the program. We offer a huge variety of activities from camping to cooking and we offer the the opportunity to be creative and get involved in their local communities. Cubs are introduced to exciting outdoor skills and take part in adventurous activities.

Structure

Our Cub Pack is organised into small groups of cubs called Sixes, each headed up by a responsible Cub called a Sixer, and often with a Seconder as well to help them. Sixers are responsible for helping their six to overcome challenges and make sure that everyone is happy. We use sixes to give cubs a sense of teamwork and to develop their communication and leadership skills.

Activities

During their time in the Pack, Cubs will get a chance to try a wide range of different activities as well as going on trips, activity days, and camps. Lots of these activities will feed into the wide range of badges and challenge awards that Cub Scouts can gain to recognize their achievements.
