Beavers are the youngest members of our group. Starting at 6 years old we offer lots of opportunities to have fun, make new friends and try new things. From sleepovers to science experiments, there’s lots of fun to be had in our Beaver group.

Our Beaver Colony is organised into teams of young people called Lodges. These lodges give beavers a sense of teamwork and the ability to develop their communication skills.

Lodges have lodge leaders which are Beavers who have shown responsibility and are then given the chance to develop their leadership skills by helping members of their lodge to complete the challenges they are set during our meetings.

During their time in the Colony, Beaver Scouts will get a chance to try a wide range of different activities as well as going on trips, days out, and sleepovers. Many of these activities feed into the large range of badges and awards that Beaver Scouts can gain to recognize their achievements.
