As you will most likely now be aware, National HQ have suspended face to face Scouting activities in the interest of maintaining the safety of Youth and Adult members. This however, does not mean that Scouting has to stop. We are a resilient group and we will do whatever it takes to keep the spirit of Scouting alive in these difficult times.
The leaders are all working hard to put together activities and badge packs to be completed at home. These will be uploaded gradually over the next few days.
We aim to get a system up and running where the Young People can continue Scouting from home, and submit evidence of their activities online in order to gain badges and awards. We will also be posting regularly with new activities and challenges for the Young People to complete at home to keep them busy and entertained in these difficult times.
Message from Bear Grylls
Our Chief Scout, Bear Grylls, has recorded a message to all Scouts telling us to stay strong in these tough times. Bear reminds us that tough times make for tough people, and that we will get through this if we work together.
Keep in Touch
Please stay in touch during this break from face to face Scouting, we are putting extra measures in place to make it easy to communicate with leaders at the group. We are all happy to help with any questions you may have about the group, or any activities and badges.
